The power of the "Tea Party Effect"
The powerful, limited government revolution sweeping America in the form of the tea parties has been pooh poohed, dissed, ridiculed by the left and the establishment political class ever since the April 15th events of this year. But no longer.
Why you ask? It is simple really. The true deniers of the left and the Republican establishment have gotten a huge wake up call as the Florida US Senate race evolves. Little known conservative Marco Rubio, associated with the Tea Party movement, has come from no where to take the lead against the establishment favorite, Governor Charlie Crist.
I call this stunning development “the Tea Party Effect”
Times are a changin’ folks and Americans are sick of party over principle, which the Republican establishment apparently hasn’t figured out yet. Charlie Crist is viewed by many as part the establishment problem with his support for the wildly unpopular Stimulus Scam and Rubio has pounded him over it, with the resulting increase in his popularity in the polls. He has embraced many of the basic principles of the tea party movement and he is being rewarded for it by the voters.
The perception that Crist and others like him are part of the problem of their ideas leading America down the path to socialism and the destruction of the American dream is not to be taken lightly. Even the liberal blogs are starting to take notice, even though they wont admit that the tea parties have any discernable effect on this perception.
Rubio’s emergence as the frontrunner is proof that they are wrong.
I predict that candidates all over America at any level who embrace these tea party principles will be successful in the May primaries and ultimately in November of 2010.
That is the “Tea Party Effect” that will resound as strongly as it did in 1994.

The leaders of the NAACP are
The leaders of the NAACP are asking tea party leaders to take stand against racist actions. Although there is documentation of racist comments being made, that doesn't make the group itself racist. There are many people outside the tea party group that are racist also, and the Tea Party has said that they do not tolerate racism or agree with the statements and views of a few individuals. I have noticed that any person opposed to the president and/or his beliefs are instantly accused of being racist. I can see this leading to the one thing our country is great at, installment loans for lawsuits.
