Wow! I was wrong folks!
In a stunning surprise announcement the Governor said that he would sign the massive, job killing tax increase bills earlier than we thought, giving us more time to gather signatures to repeal them. I really thought he would take the entire time he possibly could in an effort to thwart our efforts, but I was wrong.
I think.
You see, he hasn’t signed them yet and a couple of weeks ago, his spokesperson said he would sign them in a week, which didn’t happen either. So before I go off offering apologies to the Governor fully, I will put on my Missouri hat and say “Show Me” first.
